Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, which is now recognized widely as unceded, occupied, Ohlone Territory, I have deep roots in my home. Having lived here all my life, I have been shaped by the culture that this place represents, liberal, progressive, diverse, concerned with environmentalism and peace.
I am a survivor of disabilities, in recovery from mental health challenges and addiction, and this informs my work, my goals, and my vision for myself and others. I am committed to a vision of human possibility, a positive view of people where unlimited potential and vast personal power are characteristic traits of all people.
My creative work reflects this vision for myself, and I orient my therapeutic work with this vision for others.
May this page be a small encouragement to let your light shine and for you to be your best self.
"Without vision, people perish." Proverbs 29:18
